Export Declarations

Compliant CDS export declarations for goods leaving the UK for the EU and beyond

Since November 2024, all UK export declarations must be submitted through the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) — the old CHIEF export system was switched off. We prepare full pre-departure export declarations and Exit Summary Declarations (EXS) for goods leaving the UK by road (RoRo via Dover/Folkestone), sea and air.

We also handle the safety and security side: ENS filings for the destination country, including ICS2 declarations for goods entering the EU. From January 2026, EU import control rules apply to all freight modes, so accurate ICS2 data is no longer optional.

How It Works

  1. 1Send us your export invoice and packing details
  2. 2We assign commodity codes and prepare the CDS export entry
  3. 3Declaration lodged — MRN and (where needed) GMR issued
  4. 4Goods cleared for export — copy of the CDS entry sent to you
