Import Declarations

CDS import entries for goods entering the UK from the EU and the rest of the world

Every shipment entering the UK requires a customs import declaration. We prepare and lodge full Customs Declaration Service (CDS) entries for imports arriving by road, sea or air — from EU member states, Turkey, and any other country.

Our process covers commodity code classification, tariff and duty calculation, preferential origin claims under trade agreements (including the EU-UK TCA), VAT accounting via Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA), and submission of the full declaration to HMRC. We also handle inland clearance, customs warehousing entries (IPR/OPR), and simplified procedures (CFSP) where appropriate.

How It Works

  1. 1Send us commercial invoice, packing list and transport documents
  2. 2We classify goods, calculate duty/VAT, and check origin
  3. 3Declaration submitted to HMRC via CDS — MRN issued
  4. 4Goods cleared — we send you the customs entry and any duty receipts
