Transit & GVMS
T1 transit movements and GVMS goods movements managed end-to-end
If your goods need to move through one customs territory to reach another — for example through France or Belgium to reach Germany, or through the UK to reach Ireland — a transit declaration lets the goods travel under customs control without duty being paid at each border.
We prepare T1 declarations under the Common Transit Convention (NCTS), arrange transit guarantees where required, and handle office of departure / office of destination procedures. For RoRo movements at UK ports we also prepare GVMS Goods Movement References (GMRs) so the haulier can present a single QR code at the port and clear the inventory check.
